This Refund Policy (“Policy”) explains the terms regarding refunds, cancellations, and billing for Talking Flight Monitor subscriptions. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
Talking Flight Monitor is a subscription-based digital software product. Due to the nature of digital goods and the immediate access provided upon purchase, our refund options are limited.
2. General Refund Policy
Subscriptions are generally non-refundable. When you purchase a subscription, you receive immediate access to the Software’s premium features. Because digital goods cannot be “returned” in the traditional sense once accessed, we do not offer refunds for:
- Change of mind after purchase
- Failure to cancel before automatic renewal
- Dissatisfaction with features (we encourage you to review our documentation before purchasing)
- Unused subscription time
- Partial billing periods after cancellation
3. Exceptions
We may, at our sole discretion, provide refunds in the following circumstances:
3.1 Duplicate or Erroneous Charges
If you are charged multiple times for the same subscription period due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate charges. Please contact us within 30 days of the charge.
3.2 Technical Issues Preventing Use
If a verifiable technical issue on our end completely prevents you from using the Software, and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may be eligible for a refund. This does not include:
- Issues caused by your hardware, operating system, or internet connection
- Incompatibility with third-party software (including Microsoft Flight Simulator updates)
- Issues caused by your failure to meet system requirements
- Temporary service interruptions
3.3 Account Issues
If your account cannot be activated due to an error on our part that prevents any use of the Software, you may request a refund.
3.4 Discretionary Refunds
We reserve the right to grant refunds on a case-by-case basis for extenuating circumstances, including:
- Documented medical emergencies
- Death or incapacity of the account holder
- Other extraordinary circumstances at our sole discretion

5. Cancellation
5.1 How to Cancel

5.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
- No future charges will be made to your payment method
- No refund will be issued for the remaining time in your current billing period
- You may resubscribe at any time at the then-current subscription rate
5.3 Cancellation Timing
To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel before your renewal date. Your renewal date is displayed in your account settings and is included in your subscription confirmation email.
6. Automatic Renewal
6.1 Renewal Terms
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period:
- Monthly subscriptions renew each month on the same date as your original purchase
- Annual subscriptions renew once per year on the same date as your original purchase
6.2 Renewal Notifications
We may send you a reminder email before your subscription renews. However, it is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue your subscription. Failure to cancel before renewal does not entitle you to a refund.
6.3 Price Changes
If we change our subscription prices, we will provide you with advance notice before your next renewal. You may cancel your subscription if you do not wish to pay the new price.
7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

7.2 Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider:
- Your account and access to the Software will be immediately suspended pending resolution
- If the chargeback is found in your favor, your account will be terminated
- If the chargeback is denied, we may reinstate your account at our discretion
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and potential legal action
7.3 Fees
We reserve the right to recover any fees or costs incurred due to chargebacks that are later reversed or found to be fraudulent.
8. Annual Subscription Refunds
Annual subscriptions are subject to the same refund policy as monthly subscriptions. Due to the discounted nature of annual pricing, we do not offer:
- Pro-rated refunds for unused months
- Conversion to monthly billing with partial refund
- Refunds for price decreases after purchase
9. Free Trials
If we offer a free trial period:
- You must cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged
- The first charge will occur at the end of the trial period
- Trial periods are non-renewable; one trial per customer

Material changes to this Policy will not affect refund rights for purchases made before the change.
